How may I reach someone in person?

What's my order status?
You can look up your order status by clicking this link. The estimated ship dates are listed on each product page. You'll receive a order confirmation email once your order is placed containing all your order information. Once your order has been processed and shipped, a shipment notification email will be sent to you as well. If you haven't received a confirmation email and you think your order may have gotten lost, contact us and we'll look into it.

How long before I receive my product(s)?
Orders are shipped Monday - Friday, except during public holidays. Once your order is in transit, it should be delivered within 2-5 business days if shipped via FedEx or UPS and 5-10 business days if shipped via Freight Truck.

What forms of payment are accepted?

We accept American Express, MasterCard, and Visa, Discover, Diners Club and JCB as well as PayPal and/or financing thru Affirm.



Do you charge taxes?

ONLY for orders shipping to California, all other states are exempt.

What limitations are there on special offers?

Promotional offers such as discount codes apply to select merchandise only, excluding shipping and taxes. These offers are nontransferable and cannot be combined with any other promotions or discounts. Offers cannot be applied to past purchases, and items cannot be held for future delivery.

How secure are credit card transactions?

We use the safest industry standard 256-bit SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encryption technology to keep all of your personal information secure. CFW never store any credit card information.


I just placed an order… but I want to add another item. Can I?
Of course, but you have to place a new order, we can ship the orders together, simply email us or call us with the modification (include both order numbers) and we'll make the change in our system.

Could you notify me when an item becomes available?
Yes. You can sign up to receive a notification once the item becomes available by entering your email address on the product page.

Can you hold my items and ship at a later date if I place the order today?

Can I pick up my items locally?
All of our items are packed up and ready to ship out to you, for free! Items are shipped directly from the manufacturer and their warehouses. Warehouses are located across the country for faster delivery.

Is your inventory correct?
Our inventory is updated daily or bi-daily for most vendors. Due to high demand on certain items, an item may sell out before the inventory has been updated.

What are delivery options and costs?

We offer FREE shipping on all orders over $49.00! All of our items are delivered curb-side only. Method of shipping is determined by the individual warehouses. 


Do you ship internationally?

Unfortunately we are only able to ship to addresses within the contiguous United States. You might want to try using a third-party service to ship products from Contemporary Furniture Warehouse internationally.

These re-shipping services provide a U.S. address to receive orders, and then route your package(s) to an international destination. Please note that we do not have any affiliation with any of these companies but here are a few that you might want to contact:

To place an order using these re-shipping services, contact them directly for their delivery address, and then place the order with us using the address that the re-shipping company provides.

Please note that the re-shipping service you choose must inspect your order prior to re-shipping it. Contemporary Furniture Warehouse is not responsible for any damages incurred after the item has been received by the re-shipping service used.

What do I do if my item arrives damaged?

If you have received a damaged or defective item, please fill out our online claims form and email us photos of the damage/defect as well as the packaging item(s) arrived in. Do not discard of any packaging before notified by us. If you are missing parts, please refer to the assembly instructions to pin point the missing items.

Will I have to assemble my furniture when it arrives?
Most items offered on the CFW website require some assembly.

What is your return policy?

We want you to be 100% happy with your purchase. Returns are accepted within 20 days of receipt of the order. For information on returns and exchanges, please click here.

What is your cancellation policy?

Orders can be cancelled, free of charge, up until it has been processed and shipped.  Due to our commitment to process orders quickly, we ask that you cancel your order before end of business day order was placed. If an order has already been shipped, and you still would like to cancel, the standard return policy would apply. Custom and special order items cannot be cancelled or returned. Please contact us and don't forget to include your order number.

Do you have a physical retail store?

To give you the best deal possible, we have cut down on the cost of having a physical location and sell online only.

I'm getting an error when trying to place an order... what do I do?!?
Check you've filled out all the details properly, including your name, address and payment info. Everything has to match the information connected to the payment account used. If you recently moved, the new address may not yet have registered. Still not working? It may be a computer system error. Be patient and remember, computers make mistakes too. You can always contact us and we'll see if we can track down the problem for you.
